Rhea Tregebov

Rhea Tregebov’s six collections of poetry have garnered critical attention and honours. Remembering History, her first, was recognized with the Pat Lowther Award. Mapping the Chaos won both the Malahat Review Long Poem Award and the Prairie Schooner Readers’ Choice Award. She has also written five children’s picture books, including Sasha and the Wind and What-if Sara, and edited numerous anthologies of fiction, poetry and essays. She has just published her first novel, The Knife Sharpener’s Bell (Coteau). Tregebov grew up in Winnipeg, and lives now in Vancouver where she teaches creative writing at UBC.
