Carmelo Militano began his writing career as a free-lance journalist and broadcaster for CBC Radio One in Winnipeg. His poems, reviews, essays, and literary interviews have been published in a wide range of publications, including Accenti, CV2, Italian Canadiana, Northern Poetry Review, Quebec Poetry Review, The Pacific Rim Review of Books, PopMatters, and Prairie Fire. He won the F.G. Bressani award for poetry for Ariadne’s Thread. His latest poetry collection, Morning After You (Ekstasis Editions), seeks to capture the complicated dual reality of being and seeing from two cultural perspectives. He lives in Winnipeg.
