Jeanette Lynes Shortlisted for the Giller Prize!

Congratulations to Jeanette Lynes who has been longlisted for the 2009 Giller Prize for her first novel The Factory Voice (Coteau)!

Jeanette will be at the THIN AIR 2009 Winnipeg International Writers Festival this week for the Nooner (Thursday, September 24 at 12:15 at the Millennium Library), the Afternoon Book Chat (with Rhea Tregebov on Thursday, September 24 at 2:30 at the McNally Robinson Polo Park location) and the It’s About Love, Actually Mainstage event (along with Struan Sinclair, Margaret Sweatman, Rhea Tregebov and Tim Wynne-Jones on Thursday, September 24 at 8:00 at the CanWest Global Performing Arts Centre).
