Rebecca Rosenblum

Rebecca Rosenblum is establishing a reputation as a short fiction writer with a strong voice and astute insight. Her story “Chilly Girl” was a finalist for this year’s Writers’ Trust of Canada/McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize, awarded annually to a new and developing writer of distinction for a short story published in a Canadian literary journal. She won the Metcalf/Rooke award for Once, a debut collection of stories published this year by biblioasis. Rebecca Rosenblum was born in Hamilton ON, studied English and creative writing at McGill and the University of Toronto, and received a Certificate of Publishing from Ryerson. She lives in Toronto.
