Wesley King writes fast-paced and often hilarious novels for young readers, with a special focus on enticing boys to read and write. His first books, The Vindico and The Feros, secured him a devoted readership, and he has followed those with several other fantasy titles. OCDaniel takes a different approach, introducing readers to a kid doing everything in his power to hide his obsessive compulsive tics; it won an Edgar Award and is this year’s winner of the Manitoba Young Readers Choice Award (MYRCA). King’s new novels are A World Below (Simon & Schuster) and Laura Monster Crusher (Puffin). He lives in Ostrea Lake, Nova Scotia.
