Sherwin Tjia

Sherwin Tjia is a Montreal-based writer and illustrator. His works include The World Is a Heartbreaker, a finalist for the Quebec Writer’s Federation’s A.M. Klein Poetry Award, and The Hipless Boy, a collection of short, interconnected stories told in graphic novel form. His invention, The E-Z-Purr: The Virtual Cat! (an album with over an hour of cats purring) is available on iTunes, with proceeds going to cat shelters and adoption programs. His latest graphic novel is Plummet (Conundrum Press), the story of Amelia “Mel” Eichenwald who wakes up one morning and finds herself in endless freefall towards an Earth that is no longer there, surrounded by the junk of human existence.
