Kristen Den Hartog
Kristen Den Hartog is the author of several books, including And Me Among Them and The Perpetual Ending. With her sister Tracy Kasaboski, she published The Occupied Garden: A Family Memoir of War-Torn Holland, which was selected as one of The Globe & Mail’s best books of the year. Their latest collaboration, The Cowkeeper’s Wish (Douglas & McIntyre), part intimate family memoir, part robust social history, outlines the journey of their maternal ancestors, from London slums, workhouses, and insane asylums in Victorian England, to the First World War and life in Canada. Kristen Den Hartog lives in Toronto, and Tracy Kasaboski in the sisters’ hometown of Deep River, ON.
