Kimmy Beach

Kimmy Beach’s poetry, fiction, articles, and reviews have appeared in journals across Canada and in the UK. She was the 2005 International Guest Poet for the Dead Good Poets Society in Liverpool, UK, where she launched her third book, fake Paul. Her recent poetry collection, The Last Temptation of Bond, won the Tom Fairley Award for Editorial Excellence. She has just published her first novella, Nuala, A Fable (University of Alberta Press). Set in a dystopian world both remote from ours but also deeply credible, it echoes the work of José Saramago and Kazuo Ishiguro. Kimmy Beach lives in Edmonton. (100)
