Kathi Avery Kinew

Kathi Avery Kinew has worked with First Nations and Treaty Chiefs organizations for more than fifty years. She has also taught Indigenous Studies courses at the University of Manitoba for more than twenty-five years. Kathi is the author of Manito Gitigaan: Governing the Great Spirit’s Garden (1995), her PhD dissertation at the University of Manitoba. She is honoured to call Onigaming her home.
