Candace Savage

Candace Savage is the award-winning author of more than two dozen books. Her writing for young people has been honored by the Canadian Children’s Book Centre and the New York Public Library. In 2010, she was inducted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in recognition of her scholarly and artistic achievements. This year sees the publication of two books. Her book for adults is Strangers in the House (Greystone), an investigation into the history of anti-French sentiment embedded in her century home in Saskatoon. Her heart-warming picture book for young readers is Hello, Crow (Greystone Kids). Savage divides her time between Saskatoon and Eastend, Saskatchewan.
