Craig Davidson is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. His first book of literary fiction, Rust and Bone, was made into an Oscar-nominated feature film, and his most recent, Cataract City, was shortlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize. His latest book, Precious Cargo (Knopf Canada), is a memoir of his year driving a specialneeds school bus, an experience in which he came to a new understanding of his own life and his connection to others. Under the name Nick Cutter, he writes suspense and horror novels, including The Deep (Simon & Schuster), about a strange plague decimating humanity on a global scale. Davidson lives in Toronto.
