Marjorie Poor is a publications editor for Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning, the editor of Prairie books NOW, and a fiction editor at Prairie Fire. Her poetry has appeared in Prairie Fire, Vallum, Contemporary Verse 2, and at Theatre by the River’s annual fundraiser, Wine & Words. She lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Treaty 1 Territory. She is the author of Voices [That] Haunt Us (JackPine Press, October 2024), a collection of 10 five-line centos on themes of loss, grieving, and solace. Designed, printed, and assembled by Di Harms, the chapbook uses a flag-style page design that can also be displayed as a sculpture. (Author photo: Tim Brandt)
