Graham Steele

Graham Steele was a member of the Nova Scotia legislature from 2001 to 2013. He served as the minister of finance and minister of Acadian affairs and minister of economic and rural development and tourism. He is heard regularly as a Nova Scotia political analyst for CBC. Before entering politics, be worked as a lawyer in private practice and in government. He is the author of the bestselling memoir What I Learned in Politics, which was nominated for the Shaughnessy Cohen Prize for Political Writing. His latest book is The Effective Citizen: How to Make Politicians Work for You (Nimbus). He is a Rhodes Scholar and originally from Winnipeg. He lives in Halifax.
