Guillaume Morissette

Guillaume Morissette has published fiction in Maisonneuve Magazine, Pop Serial, and many other publications, and has released one short story collection, I Am My Own Betrayal. Raised as a francophone, he decided in 2010 to immerse himself deeper in English, and moved in with anglophone roommates. His debut novel, New Tab (Véhicule), the story of a twenty-something francophone navigating new roommates, Facebook, online chat, dating, and living as an anglophone in Montreal, is the result of that life experiment. It has been praised for its authenticity and originality. Morissette continues to live in Montreal PQ.
