Denise Roig

Denise Roig has published two collections of short stories, A Quiet Night and a Perfect End, which appeared in French as Le Vrai Secret du Bonheur, and Any Day Now, which was shortlisted for the Quebec Writers’ Federation Prize. She has also written a lively memoir, Butter Cream: A Year in a Montreal Pastry School. Her new story collection, Brilliant (Signature Editions), is set in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emerates, a polyglot city of colliding cultures and unbelievable wealth. Roig has just returned to Montreal after several years in Abu Dhabi.
