Plume Winnipeg seeks PROGRAMMING COORDINATOR

Plume Winnipeg’s Programming Coordinator will support the planning and programming of THIN AIR 2026, our fall literary festival.

The Programming Coordinator is a part-time role, roughly 24 hours/week from March 15 through November 1, 2026 (33 weeks). Plume Winnipeg has an office space in Artspace in downtown Winnipeg, but maintains a hybrid work structure. The Plume Winnipeg team meets weekly in person, with regular daily contact via Teams.

In order to support the preparation and delivery of THIN AIR 2026, the Programming Coordinator will take responsibility for English-language programming. To that end, the Programming Coordinator will:

request publisher pitches/submissions, make curatorial decisions, and coordinate the writer invitation process;
engage with publishers and writers to ensure the timely collection of all pertinent information;
track all details of planned programming, including scheduling, hosts, platforms, etc;
secure sufficient personnel for all aspects of delivery, and coordinate information for all participating writers;
create event descriptions for website and social media, and crosscheck regularly to ensure that posted information is correct or reflects changes in plans;
generate content for regular newsletters and other outreach efforts;
other duties as requested.

The Programming Coordinator works collaboratively with the team and reports directly to the Executive Director who reports to the Board of Directors.
