On April 24th, the Winnipeg Free Press published poetry by Manitoba writers for National Poetry Month for the 6th edition of Writes of Spring.
This year, we celebrated the launch via Zoom with hosts Ariel Gordon and Tamar Rubin, and featured readings on the theme of resilience by the 2021 Writes of Spring poets:
Alero Tenumah, Alison Wong, Carolyn Hoople Creed, Delshan Anqele, Harvey Jenkins, James Scoles, Libby Jeffrey, melanie brannagan frederiksen, Noah Cain, Özten Shebahkeget, Seream, Tazi Rodrigues.
