Remembering Orysia Tracz
We join the family and many friends of Orysia Tracz in sadness at her passing on Thursday.
Orysia was an amazing cultural historian of the Ukrainian community here in Winnipeg, and she shared some of the lively recollections from her book, First Star I See Tonight, at Voices from Oodena this past September .
She has been a big-hearted, enthusiastic, and capable festival volunteer for many years. She was always quick to smile and offer hands and heart. We will miss her!
