Michael Tregebov

Born in Winnipeg, Michael Tregebov obtained his BA in English from the University of Manitoba and his MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. He has taught American Literature and Translation at the American Institute and English at Escuela Superior de Administracion y Direccion de Empresas, both in Barcelona, Spain. His first novel, The Briss, was a finalist for the Commonwealth First Novel Prize (Canada-Caribbean Region). His latest, Shot Rock (New Star), is a comic story of marriage, fatherhood, revolutionary socialism, and the battle over the only Jewish curling club in North End Winnipeg. Tregebov lives in El Masnou, Barcelona.
