M.C. Joudrey

M.C. Joudrey is a writer, publisher, artist, designer, and bookbinder, with works held in galleries internationally. His collection of short stories Charleswood Road: Stories secured him a nomination for the John Hirsch Award. His new novel Fanonymous (At Bay Press) is set in Winnipeg, a surreal place with escaped bison roaming the downtown core, a pomegranate tree growing at the corner of Portage and Main, and an eccentric populace—a mysterious city where an infamous street artist pursued by international authorities hopes to find the anonymity that is his only protection.

Joudrey lives in a slightly less surreal version of Winnipeg.
