William Deverell has worked as a journalist and lawyer, and is a founder of the B.C. Civil Liberties Association. He is the creator of CBC’s long-running television series, Street Legal, which has aired in more than 50 countries. Winner of both the Arthur Ellis prize and the Dashiell Hammett Award, Deverell is the author of the Arthur Beauchamp novels.
