Per Brask

Per K. Brask is a writer, dramaturg, and translator who has published poetry, plays, short stories, essays, and radio dramas, as well as the libretto for Michael Matthews’s chamber opera, Prince Kaspar. He is a professor in the Department of Theatre and Film at the University of Winnipeg). With Patrick Friesen, he has translated Danish poet Ulrikka S. Gernes’ Frayed Opus for Strings & Wind Instruments (Brick Books). Over the past couple of years, he has published two books of his own poetry: A Spectator, and Above Palm Canyon and Other Places in the Mind (Fictive).
