Elizabeth Denny

Elizabeth Denny is a Métis writer from the community of St. Laurent, Manitoba. She makes her living as a social worker in Winnipeg and writes as much as her schedule allows. Her poetry and short stories have been published in various journals. She has written scripts for APTN children’s series Wapos Bay and Tipi Tales, and she has also published Jenneli’s Dance, a story that deals with self-esteem, and instills a sense of pride in the Métis culture. Denny is one of the contributors to ndncountry, the special issue of Prairie Fire and CV2 launched at THIN AIR 2018 as part of Voices in the Circle. She lives in Winnipeg.
