Cary Fagan

Cary Fagan writes books for children and adults, and has won the City of Toronto Book Award, the Jewish Book Committee Prize for Fiction, and the Mr. Christie Silver Medal. This year he releases two picture books, Little Blue Chair (Tundra) and A Cage Went in Search of a Bird (Groundwood), as well as two novels for middle years readers, Wolfie and Fly (Tundra), featuring a quirky pair of kids, and Mort Ziff Is Not Dead (Puffin), a coming-of-age story set in 1960s Florida. The Old World (Anansi) is Fagan’s collection of micro-stories for adults, inspired by a collection of found postcards. He lives in Toronto.
