Andrew Reeves

Andrew Reeves is a widely-published award-winning environmental journalist and the editor-in-chief of Alternatives Journal, Canada’s oldest environmental publication. He holds degrees in human geography from the University of Toronto and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction from the University of King’s College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His book Overrun: Dispatches from the Asian Carp Crisis (ECW Press) has been described as “a saga of human short-sightedness” (MinnPost), and “a gracefully composed exemplar of the human species’ disputatious struggle to protect its own habitat while those of so many other species are disappearing or shifting” (Wall Street Journal). Reeves lives in Toronto.
