Jamie Quatro

Jamie Quatro’s first book of stories, I Want to Show You More, was a New York Times Notable Book and NPR’s Best Book of 2013, and she was hailed as “a writer of great originality” by the New York Times Book Review. Her debut novel, Fire Sermon (House of Anansi), is a portrait of obsession, the complexities of a marriage, and one woman’s emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual yearnings, and it has been equally well-received: “The sentences burn with desire and disquiet” (New York Times Book Review); “intimate, raw, and psychologically fascinating” (National Book Review); “Quatro makes us feel the absolute necessity of desire” (The Atlantic). Quatro lives in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
