Grant Buday

Grant Buday has published nine books, including the novels Dragonflies, White Lung, Sack of Teeth, and Rootbound, and the memoirs Stranger on a Strange Island and Golden Goa. His articles and essays have been published across the country, and his short fiction has appeared in The Journey Prize Anthology and Best Canadian Short Stories. His wildly imaginative latest novel, Atomic Road (Anvil Press), tells of a fictional road trip with art critic Clement Greenberg, philosopher Louis Althusser, and a bounty hunter to Saskatchewan, in the shadow of the Cuban Missile Crisis. While he has travelled extensively throughout the world, Grant Buday currently lives on Mayne Island, British Columbia, where he manages a recycling depot.
