Darren Greer
Darren Greer grew up in several towns in Nova Scotia and studied literature at the University of King’s College, Halifax, as well as at Carleton University. His first novel, Tyler’s Cape, was published to critical acclaim. His second, Still Life with June, was nominated for the Pearson Readers’ Choice Award at Toronto’s Word on the Street in 2003, and won the 2004 ReLit Award. His latest novel is Advocate (Cormorant), which brings to life the panic and moral self-righteousness of small town citizens in the beginning days of the AIDS crisis. It won the Jim Connors Dartmouth Book Award. Darren Greer lives in Toronto.
