Britt Wray

Britt Wray is a science storyteller who writes, makes radio, and directs interactive documentaries. She is a PhD candidate in Science Communication with a focus on synthetic biology at the University of Copenhagen. She is the co-host of the forthcoming BBC podcast Tomorrow’s World, about the future of science and technology, and has produced radio shows at the CBC. She has taught science communication and public engagement courses at the University of Oxford and the University of Warwick. Her first book, Rise of the Necrofauna (Greystone), discusses the science and ethics of de-extinction—a scientific movement seeking to bring extinct species “back to life,” as well as save endangered species. Born in Toronto, she lives in Copenhagen.
