Bill Richardson

Bill Richardson is a writer and broadcaster who hosted numerous shows on CBC Radio, including Saturday Afternoon at the Opera and In Concert. In 2012, he collaborated with composer and singer Veda Hille to create the offbeat musical, Do You Want What I Have Got? A Craigslist Cantata. His books include Bachelor Brothers’ Bed & Breakfast, which won the Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour, and After Hamelin, a novel for children and winner of the Silver Birch Award. His latest books are The First Little Bastard to Call Me Gramps: Poems of the Late Middle Ages (Anansi), and a children’s picture book, The Alphabet Thief (Groundwood). He divides his time between Vancouver and rural Manitoba.
