Patrick Woodcock is the author of nine books of poetry, and his work has been translated and published in fourteen languages. He has lived and worked in such diverse places as Iceland, Poland, Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Azerbaijan. Within Canada he has travelled from the west to east coasts, and he volunteered for almost a year with the elders of Fort Good Hope, Northwest Territories, south of the Arctic Circle. His new collection, You Can’t Bury Them All (ECW), emerges from his travels, simultaneously exploring hope and horror while documenting the transformative processes of coping. Woodcock currently lives in Musquodoboit Harbour, NS.
