Marnie Woodrow

Marnie Woodrow is the author of two short fiction collections: Why We Close Our Eyes When We Kiss, and In The Spice House. Her novel, Spelling Mississippi, a love story set in pre-Katrina New Orleans, was short-listed for the amazon.ca First Novel Prize. Her poetry, short fiction and literary essays have appeared in CV2, Literary Review of Canada, The Ottawa Citizen, and The Church-Wellesley Review. Her second novel, Heyday (Tightrope Books), is a double-barrel love story: two girls meet on a roller coaster in 1909, while a 21st century widow grieves the loss of her partner. Woodrow lives in Toronto.
