Kerry Ryan

Kerry Ryan’s poetry has appeared in Prairie Fire, Grain, CV2, The Windsor Review, and other journals, and is featured in the anthology Exposed. She has been involved in chapbook publishing, and is a frequent and thoughtful reviewer for a number of journals, including Zygote, Herizons, and Prairie Books Now. Her first poetry collection, The Sleeping Life (J Gordon Shillingford), has been praised for its sharply drawn images and warmth. It maps out a fascinating relationship between the narrator—“a blue eyed watcher, also called a small-chested, dark-headed worrier”—and the birds she loves. Kerry Ryan lives and writes in a blue house in Winnipeg.
