Gerald Hill has published three previous poetry collections: The Man from Saskatchewan, Heartwood, and Getting to Know You, which won the Saskatchewan Poetry Award in 2004. Published widely in literary journals and anthologies, he has also written the text for a collection of biographies and photographs called Their Names Live On: Remembering Saskatchewan’s Fallen in World War II. His new collection of poetry is My Human Comedy (Coteau). Born in Herbert SK, Gerald Hill has moved to Regina three times, amid stops in Calgary, Rocky Mountain House, Papua New Guinea and Edmonton. He now teaches English at Luther College, University of Regina.
