Join THIN AIR Kids and Winnipeg Public Library for a graphic novel workshop with writer Jen Storm and colourist Alice RL. How do ideas and concepts of closure contribute to the creation of a graphic novel? Find out in this hands-on workshop! For ages 13-17.

Jen Storm is an Ojibwe writer and editor from Couchiching First Nation in Northwestern Ontario. She completed her first novel at age 14. Her most recent book is Little Moons, a graphic novel featuring the colour work of Alice RL. Alice RL is a non-binary Ojibwe illustrator and art teacher who draws inspiration from their life experiences and cultural teachings. Both Jen and Alice live in Winnipeg.

This program is part of February’s I Love to Read Month at Winnipeg Public Library.
