THIN AIR 2020 Virtual Festival
The festival elves are working overtime, and here’s what we’re creating…
This year, THIN AIR will be a special website packed with creative content that is dedicated to celebrating this year’s (very large) roster of writers and their wonderful new books. The content is coming in hot, and we can’t wait to share all of the creative energy that’s bubbling behind the scenes!
You’ll be able to prowl all the rooms of this metaphorical house any time of day or night, searching out new work that you want to know more about, or exploring the books we’ve gathered in various kinds of conversation. You’ll hear writers sharing their stories, and some of the secrets that make them possible. You’ll find fiction and non-fiction, poetry, graphic novels, and books for kids, teens, and tweens. As always, we have terrific writers in French, and we are championing books by Indigenous writers. You’re likely to find some drawings too, and music, a few slide shows, some super-interesting video art. We’ll have some real-time online forums with some of our guests, and a great selection of writing workshops.
