[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In this year of national flag-waving, we’re creating opportunities for fruitful conversation about the cultural layering that underlies this country we call Canada.

On Thursday, June 22, we bring together three writers who have won or been nominated for our nation’s most prestigious literary prize, the Governor General’s Literary Award, for an evening of readings and conversation.

Discounted tickets for students and seniors can be purchased in person at McNally Robinson Booksellers, in the WIWF office (624-100 Arthur st.) and at the door of the event.

We regret to announce that due to a last-minute flight cancellation, Louise Bernice Halfe is unable to attend tonight’s event. The event will continue with Rudy Wiebe and Garry Thomas Morse, in conversation with Charlene Diehl.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
