Members of the spoken word community, slam poets combine a range of different styles, traditions, and approaches to language in exhilarating three-minute performances. A poetry slam specifies no props, no musical instruments, and no nudity, but anything else goes. Poems are judged on both writing and performance by designated audience members.

Advance tickets are no longer available since our office will be closed during the festival. Tickets can still be purchased at the door of the event.
