Guy Vanderhaeghe

Guy Vanderhaeghe was born in Esterhazy, SK. His fiction includes A Good Man, The Last Crossing, The Englishman’s Boy, Things As They Are, Homesick, My Present Age, and Man Descending. Among his many awards are the Writers’ Trust Timothy Findley Award, the Harbourfront Festival Prize, and the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Fellowship for his body of work. He has received many other honours, including the Order of Canada and the Lieutenant Governor’s Arts Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts. He was awarded his third Governor General’s Literary Award last year for his story collection Daddy Lenin (McClelland & Stewart).  Vanderhaeghe lives in Saskatoon.
