Past mistakes don’t stay buried…

In Sing a Worried Song, William Deverell’s latest Arthur Beauchamp mystery, the anxious former lawyer is trying to enjoy his country gentleman retirement but an old case brings new threats. This is “Deverell at his worried, witty best…” (Joan Barfoot, London Free Press). William Deverell has worked as a journalist and lawyer, and is a

founder of the B.C. Civil Liberties Association. He is the creator of CBC’s long-running television series Street Legal which has aired in more than 50 countries, and has won both the Arthur Ellis prize and the Dashiell Hammett Award. He’ll give a taste of his new book, then join Festival Director Charlene Diehl for an on-stage chat.
