Salle Antoine-Gaborieau (2nd floor), Centre culturel franco-manitobain (CCFM), 340, boul. Provencher

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Admission is $10 for the full evening—pay once and stay for ForeWords.

We open THIN AIR with poetry, and three writers from very different backgrounds. Ulrikka S. Gernes is one of Denmark’s most widely-published and accomplished poets. We’re delighted to welcome her to Winnipeg, and to bring together her long-time collaborators and equally accomplished writers: Per Brask, Winnipeg poet, playwright, and translator, and Patrick Friesen, poet, playwright, and former Winnipegger. All three will read from their work, then join Festival Director Charlene Diehl in an onstage conversation about writing, translating, and the synergy of collaboration.

Books will be available on-site. Cash bar.

Advance tickets are no longer available, as we have moved out of the office for the duration of the festival. Tickets are still available at the door.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
